Royal Guards, also known as Emperor's Royal Guards, were an elite unit within the Galactic Empire, tasked with protecting Emperor Palpatine. Chosen from the ranks of the stormtrooper corps, they were subjected to rigorous training and indoctrination, ensuring unwavering loyalty to the Emperor.
Distinguished by their crimson robes and helmets that completely obscured their faces, Royal Guards presented an imposing and intimidating presence. Their armor was designed to withstand blaster fire and other forms of attack, making them formidable bodyguards.
